Explore the full code and files on <a href="https://codeberg.org/mospak/glasshouse-core">[Codeberg]</a>.Features: RTC Day/Night Scheduling, PTC Heater Control, and Pure Data Logging The Soil Moisture Sensor V1.2 is an analog capacitive sensor that can be connected to an Arduino UNO using the A0 pin for analog output, along with +3.3 V and GND for power. The CO2 unit, RTC module, and 4-Relay Unit are I2C devices that can be connected to an Arduino UNO via an M5Stack 1-to-3 HUB Expansion Unit, using A5 (SCL), A4 (SDA), and +5 V and GND for power. The LED, fan, valve, and PTC heater are +12 V DC loads that can be controlled via a 4-channel relay module, such as the M5Unit-4RELAY from M5Stack. Place a 1N4007 diode across the valve solenoid coil to suppress back EMF, cathode to +12 V, anode to GND. Add the following libraries to the Arduino IDE: <ol><li>Sensirion I2C SCD4x by Sensirion, </li><li>M5Unit-4RELAY by M5Stack, </li><li>RTClib by Adafruit. </li></ol>Initialize the RTC with the date and time on a new device, or after a power loss, using the DS3231 and the RTClib ds3231.ino example. The M5Unit-4RELAY library is compatible with ESP32 architectures. To use it with AVR-based Arduino boards, a few modifications are needed. A pull request for AVR compatibility is currently awaiting approval. You can toggle Edit Mode on and off using Cmd + E (macOS) or Ctrl + E (Windows/Linux). To open a port, edit the [open n] object with the desired port index from the list, then click [open]. The SensirionI2cScd4x sensor samples every 5 s, so the Pure Data patch (.pd file) uses ssm (Seconds Since Midnight) with expr floor($f1) / 5 to index display arrays at 5-second intervals. </body></html>
