How to connect servo in "servo 2" pin given in motor shield and what will be changes in "attach (10)" line?

For servo 1 attach at pin 10 & for servo 2 attach at pin 9, as you can infer by looking at the backside of the motor shield.

Hi - Might you be able to help me. How would I connect a IR remote to this? And how do I power the motor without it being connected to the computer? A 9V battery plugged in doesn't work. I am using this motor: Specification: Stall Torque: 12 kg/cm(4.8V), 15kg/cm(6V) Dimensions : 54.1 x 20 x 44.3 mm Weight: 55g Voltage: 4.8~6V I am at the beginning of learning circuits. I have just done a creative engineering course. It is to power a moving sculpture. Thank you for your kindness in helping me.

For providing external power to the motor shield normal batteries won't work at all instead use small 6V lead-acid battery to power all 4 motors at the same time. I faced the same problem when I was new to this but after connecting it to the 6V battery all of them worked nice & fine.
