<html><body><p>Transform your Alvik into a delivery robot with line-following and obstacle-avoidance features. Capable of navigating specific routes and delivering items along the way. Using only block-based coding with mBlock. Further customize the delivery robot with 3D printing compatible designs. </p><h3>Setting up the track</h3><p>The Alvik robot will follow the track that you draw on a table or any big flat surface. Draw the track with a marker or 2cm wide black tape. On the track mark a few "T" bars, the Alvik will treat these as "Stop and Turn" signs. </p><figure><img src="https://projects.arduinocontent.cc/785e7d6e-111a-4cb7-a534-71590a629be6.gif"/><figcaption></figcaption></figure><p>It will run the loop following the route that you designed. In the image below you can see an example of a track for the Alvik: </p><figure><img src="https://projects.arduinocontent.cc/233fc752-fbd1-4702-8bba-75a215d4c7a0.jpg"/><figcaption></figcaption></figure><p>Alternatively, you can create a circle track, making the Alvik drive in a circle loop. </p><h3>Code</h3><p>The mBlock code for this project can be found in the section below. You can find notes in the project that explains the different blocks. </p><figure><img src="https://projects.arduinocontent.cc/9e771f21-8767-4727-b0e7-a85178a31565.png"/><figcaption></figcaption></figure><h3>Starting the delivery robot</h3><p>Start the robot by pressing the OK (√) button. </p><p>Place your hands or any object in front of the robot to trigger the obstacle sensor. The robot will stop when it detects the obstacle. Once the obstacle is removed, the robot will resume its movement. </p><p>Below you can find a 3D printing file for a container that can be mounted onto the Alvik. If you have printed the container you can place small items such as pens or snacks in it for the robot to carry. </p><figure><img src="https://projects.arduinocontent.cc/60f44411-0f2d-4185-8807-1e3f65692f3e.gif"/><figcaption></figcaption></figure><p>Now you have a delivery robot that can carry small items along a track! </p><p> </p></body></html>
